I was wondering how you guys felt about the brand split in WWE thus far.
What brought it to my attention was that this week, while slamming the indys, Randy Orton also mentioned that Smackdown was making more money than Raw. Then if you put that with AJ's mini-rant about the shakeup and how Raw just takes stars and does nothing with them while Smackdown takes garbage and makes stars along with Shane straight up saying a few months ago that he doesn't even watch Raw it seems like Smackdown takes the whole thing really seriously.
It shows though. Just like last time they split, Smackdown has flourished even when Raw has harvested the top stars. I grew up without cable, so Smackdown is my brand, lol. Therefore I'm lovin' the brand split and the awesome work Road Dogg is doing there putting out a great show and highlighting the talent in fun ways.
But what about you? How do you feel about the brand split?

I love the brand split because I don't have to watch RAW. (I still watch every PPV.) I agree with AJ and Orton that Smackdown is really where it's at. RAW seems to be geared more for the casual wrestling fans and folks who watch it every week because they always have. Where Smackdown seems like it's for the smarks, marks, and hardcore fans. I think the only thing I don't like about SD is how they're handling Nakamura. Although, I never was a huge fan of his while he was in NJPW.

The split was great. It needed to happen.

I really liked the initial brand split, but the superstar shakeup has seemingly been really bad for Smackdown thus far. Having Orton as champion is boring, especially with the two top heels being guys whose gimmick is essentially "HEY I'M UNAMERICAN! AMERICA SUCKS!". I know that generates a ton of heat, but it just seems so bland right now.
I'm hoping that the debut of Nakamura will lead to some great situations, while they keep pushing Breezango and the Fashion Files (because that is money). I also wish that some of the talent residing in NXT right now would come over to SDL after Takeover. Heels like Roode would be an awesome injection of talent, and the Authors of Pain or DIY would be a great injection into the tag-team division.

The talent probably has never been better, but the booking is shakey.
Roode is awesome, I really like Breeze and I'm glad he's getting a push finally. He's good.

Don't care for it I think they need to go back to one company with one World Title one women's title So they need to get rid of the divas title and that joke title the Universal and go back to one set of tagteam titles

I am tired odf seeing the same old guys with it I loved Bray Wyatt as champion they could of let him keep it for a while they could of had some great story lines with him as champion and Owens is a great champ Aj Styles always a great choice too I just think all titles should be defended every ppv like they use to when it was wrestling and not entertainment

Putting it on Brock "I Only Wrestle Like 4 Times a Year" Lesnar was pure stupidity that's basically crippled what was supposed to be the flagship show. But I like that more talent is getting airtime on Smackdown, lol

Yeah I agree with you giving it to Brock didn't help Raw or the reputation of the universal title Owens was doing great and I think if they are going to keep it give it to Joe maybe not this time but make Joe and Brock fued for a while and make Joe earn it not just give it to him but make Brock wrestle weekly or at least bi weekly
