Everyone is going nuts about the Main Event this week, some six man tag bullcrap...The match everyone will be talking about after the show is how Mr. Dackle dismantles Dylan Black like a 2,000 piece puzzle in the hands of a toddler...And that, you can take to the bank.

If I had to book this week's card I would book it this way. I'll explain the reasoning behind the matches.
*Short opening Segment from Lucas*
Opening Match Singles Match
Carroll vs Danny Ray
These two men are looking to prove themselves here in ICW with the winner moving on to face the winner of the second match. Loser will face the loser of the second match in the opening match of the PPV.
(Known talent to pump up the crowd. The previous wave of new talent, both are hungry and looking for opportunities. This is a chance to reach for that brass ring.)
Second Match "Double Debut" Two out of Three Falls Match
"Scorpion" Steve Dackle vs "The Punisher" Dylan Black
A double debut is twice as nice so we get twice the match! Both of these men make their ICW debut just before the ppv setting up the opportunity to make a name for themselves right away. The winner will face the winner of Carroll vs Danny Ray at the second match of the PPV for Shooting Star #1 contender's match. Loser faces loser of the same match in the opening match of the PPV.
(Sink or Swim for the new guys let them debut together and fight it out. First to secure two falls will prove their determination to ICW.)
*Segment*
Third Match Grudge Match (no count outs)
Billy Shaw vs "El Cazador"
A "rematch" from last week these two we beaten by Chaos Kid in the triple threat and are looking to redeem themselves. The winner will face Barratt at the PPV for the title. Loser could potentially face Maverick at PPV.
(I know kind of crappy for me to book myself in a match that could give me a title, but from a kayfabe/storyline it makes sense that Shaw and myself would want to fight it out and in the past losers of World Title #1 contender matches got shots at the mid-card belts. This opens up a world of possibilities in the Shooting Star picture.)
Fourth Match Triple Threat (Non Title)
Maverick vs Chaos Kid (w/ Duke Kosloff) vs Bobby Barratt.
If Bobby is pinned or submitted by Maverick he will defend his title at the PPV in a triple threat against the winner of the previous match and Maverick If Bobby is pinned or submitted by Chaos Chaos Kid, Kid will be awarded a shot at the title at the next PPV regardless of who is champion. Maverick will still be put into a triple threat with the winner of the previous match and Barratt. If Bobby wins or is not pinned/submitted he only has to defend against the winner of the previous match and Maverick will face the loser of the previous match.
(Duke as Kid's manager can continue their heat. Kid has proved himself in ICW. Maverick gets a shot to shine!)
*Short Segment*
MAIN EVENT Singles Match (Non Title)
Duke Kosloff (w/ Chaos Kid) vs Jack Diamond
Duke has wanted Diamond forever, envious of his partner he demands an opportunity. Diamond is happy to oblige with a non title match. If Duke wins, Jack will be forced to defend his title against Duke AND Chaos Kid at the PPV!
(With CK being DK's manager in this match it has the potential to further their lover's quarrel. Will CK try and prevent his partner in winning and being included in the PPV main event? If Duke wins will this further the divide between the two?)
(This booking is kind of straight forward. Rivalries can be made as well as alliances. This also sets up clear matches for the PVV for the most part. I wanted to include Stetson but I believe he is MIA. Don was not free this week or I would have included them as well. In the case that they were both available they would face each other in singles competition. I encourage you all to make a card as it is not easy, there is a lot of thought and planning that goes into booking, doing this will give you all insight on what Lucas has to do week in and week out, then booking is the easy part ((even though it isn't easy)) the hard part is writing the matches/show.)

It's an interesting exercise isn't it? I like booking, so I enjoyed it.
